well yes sorry i have been butt useless on my bloggy front lately,
since it is the season to be jolly, and busy and sidetracked and brain frozen pregnant i will let myself off.
The tummy has been growing at a cracking pace, im 26 weeks tomorro (6 1/2 months) and measuring around 115cm (which everyone says is huge!) but i think is just perfect :) he he
Little MISS likes to boot the bladder as much as she can and punch other body organs for fun and games in the womb as much as possible, but i think hey BABY go for it!!! a moving baby is a happy baby says my lovely midwife. :)
ANdrew has felt a good kick and a punch on his hands too!! i cant wait till he puts his head on the belly one day and gets a good kick or punch in the head he he that will be funny to see his face.
I think the baby has more xmas presents under the tree then anyone !!! ALREADY!!! and she is not even born yet!! i suppose it helps that everything we have been buying we wrap up and put under the tree, yes i know we are grippers but seriously we have waited long enough so anything that seems remotely insane to do with the baby is allowed:)

stages of pregnancy

i think being pregnant has a few stages
FIRSTLY, screw the crap they go on about 2nd trimester is wonderful and a breeze blah blah blah its just bollocks to get you thru the 1st 12 weeks of the worst hangover of your life (hee hee) well thats what it feels like ha ha
So
Weeks 1-12 Bad hangover period
where you have a free hangover without the alcohol and need to eat everything in site and still only feel a little better :)

Weeks 13-24 - irrational childlike behaviour period
You get up in the morning
(quite happy)
you get changed
(still happy)
head off to work
(still happy)
and half way to work you decide
(getting irritated)
i dont feel comfy in what im wearing
(really irritated)
and want to take my clothes off RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!
AND NEED SOMETHING COMFY RIGHT NOW !!!!!!!
(have a cry, because thats what kids do when they get frustrated ??)
off to the closest clothes store pee 5 times in public toilet get new clothes from scared looking shopkeeper in 4 minutes flat before needing loo again.
(calm again now)
get to work all calm and collected.
Get home from work
(happy)
think about dinner ????
start getting irritated again because you cant think of what you feel like and your husband is happy with whatever you want but you want him to make the decision for once and he only wants you to be happy so makes a couple of suggestions and you scream that those a yuk ideas for dinner!!!!

oh by now its to late for dinner so you go down the road to get take out (happy once again) and get home to discover you have been given the wrong food!!!

ha ha ha ha this is only what happens in one day can you imagine every day he he poor husbands


Constant throughout entire pregnancy...
Clumsiness .. get over it and detach yourself from anything you ever liked in your kitchen its going to get broken and if you dont manage to break it your baby will when he/she can open cupboards and climb in them :)
forgetfulness i broke a kitchen cupboard after swinging on it and andrew tells me not to swing on it when opening (ok im not talking swing like a monkey im talking lean on it) so 30 seconds later i need something from that same cupboard and lean on said broked cupboard door AGAIN in front of husband (which is worse) and the whole thing snaps off !! and then i click i wasnt meant to be doing that he he he he i had to laugh for a good ten minutes after that as it was so ridiculous that i could forget that quickly what he had told me what NOT to do!!! now i understand why kids get in so much trouble.
big boobs! whatever happened to people rubbing your tummy? all i get is people staring and pointing at my boobs explaining how big they are!! well i hadnt really noticed that i was carrying around a extra 2kgs on each boob!!gee wizz!
oh and then people saying...oh wait til your milk comes in they will be HUGE!! WOW!! REALLY !!i thought they might get smaller when im being milked like a cow ! do i look that dumb ? ha ha dont answer that.

as im only at 24 weeks so im sure i will encounter more exciting new stages of prengnancy woohoo!!

but seriously i do love every minute of it after waiting so long for our beautiful angel to come there is nothing i would rather be doing then enjoying all the stages of pregnancy.

FINALLY..............

After 3 scans we finally got a little glimpse between our treasured ones legs, man it was a split second but the sonographer has said she is 80% sure we are having a........wait for it....................

GIRL!!!!!!

Yippeee yay wooppeeee

now for names mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
