SHes here

Well she has finally made her appearence,
Dusty Vienna May Pullen,
Born 10th April 2009,
weighing 8pound 6ounzes.
After 2 days of prelabour pains we headed to hospital to get induced at 7.30am on thursday 9th APril ,
after walking the hospital steps for hours we finally had some contractions kick in from 11am thru to 3pm when they broke my waters. Things kicked up a notch and we thought dusty would be with us by midnight, but after a jab of pehidine, my body decided it would stop altogether. so we waited midnght came and went and obstetricians decided we would try MORE drugs to bring on labour again and threw in a epidural for fun as well. So we had to wait 3 hours for the anaesthesitist to turn up so by 8.30am a very worn out Tanya finally gets her epidural more drugs to kick in contractions and we are told to wait 2 hours to see if dusty would like to think abou making a appearence. SO by 10.30am the specialists reviewed us (i was over it by then) and Dusty was determined too big and no progressing well enough so a emergency c section was decided on. My body started having convulsions by then from all the drugs an was wheeled in to theatre with a very worried husband with me, docs tell me to let them no if i feel anything when they pull her out ?? anyway they pulled an tugged (ew) and Dusty came out crying it was a pretty amazing feeling. :) Until i felt my insides being ripped out and screamed so was knocked out quick smartly under general and awoke in recovery room with a happy elated husband holding our baby girl and everyone asking me how i felt???? i was pretty wasted to be honest so just cried i think.

SHe is feeding gloriously and came out knowing how to breast feed lucky me :)
We are loving all bein at home now after a 3 day stay in hospital ad to get out of there it was doing our heads in. Poor andrew did some 7am to midnight stints in with me to calm me down as i had a pretty rough time. ANd wasnt too happy or healthy for a couple of days.
